Give your special occasion a unique and exciting ambiance at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation. Our historic, 19th-century textile mill overlooking the scenic Charles River provides a unique, historic, picturesque backdrop to many of Greater Boston’s most memorable special event experiences.
Looking for a venue for your event on a smaller scale? We offer two cocktail reception packages available for Sunday-Friday subject to availability. This includes use of the Museum’s Main Gallery, Watch Gallery and first floor restrooms.
ACCOMMODATIONS and CAPACITY
up to 50 guests for Small Cocktail Reception Package
51-100 guests for Large Cocktail Reception Package

Renting our facility includes up to 2 hours of setup time, up to 3 hours of event time, up to 1 hour of breakdown/cleanup time (up to 6 hours total), cleaning, security guard to monitor service entrance lot, tables & chairs.
Large Cocktail Reception package: $1,500
Small Cocktail Reception package: $1,200
Both cocktail reception packages include:
(5) 30” cocktail tables- high or low top
(1) 60” round table
(4) 6’ banquet tables
(50) black Samsonite chairs
Gallery speakers and input of an exterior music source (your smartphone, iPad, computer etc.)
NONPROFIT DISCOUNTS
Discounted rates may be available for qualifying non-profit organizations.
We accept event deposit and final payments by check or card.
By choosing to submit your payment by credit or debit card, you agree to pay a 3% convenience fee.
