markerelli.com

The performance begins at 8:00; doors open 30 minutes prior.

MARK ERELLI
Mark Erelli is an accomplished songwriter whose work been compared to that of Paul Simon and Jackson Browne. He’s also an acclaimed sideman who has worked with artists like Grammy-winner Lori McKenna and Josh Ritter. His travels have taken him from local listening rooms to major folk festivals to the Grand Old Opry and The Royal Albert Hall.

Erelli’s songs are rooted in the great storytelling tradition of American folk music. He can weave tale with a vividness and mastery of detail few can match, and his songs have a powerful emotional core that resonates with audiences wherever he plays. It’s no coincidence that Erelli released a moving tribute album to the late songwriter Bill Morrissey, whose unflinching ability to tell hard truths has long inspired him. Further afield, Erelli’s diverse catalog, and work with the band Barnstar!, reflect his love of western swing and bluegrass.

Mark Erelli has worked tirelessly for the last 18 years, playing countless shows, establishing himself as a sought-after accompanist and evolving as a writer and performer. We’re excited to welcome him to The Charles River Museum.

For those 21+, your first beverage (beer or wine) is included in the ticket price. Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages for all.
