Historical & Wildlife Walking Tour on the Charles River

We're excited to be partnering with the East Coast Greenway Alliance, the Waltham Land Trust, and the Watch City Bike Lab on this special event to raise awareness of the 3,000-mile East Coast Greenway of which the Charles River Greenway is part, which passes right through Waltham along the Charles River and past our front door!

Join our four organizations for a FREE 90 minute event that includes the following:

Noon – 1:00 pm: Historical walking tour about the industrial revolution and a wildlife talk led by the Waltham Land Trust originating at Landry Park, on Landry Way, about a hundred yards from our front door. 

1:00 – 1:30 pm: Visit the Watch City Bike Lab and talk with the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation.

The nonprofit East Coast Greenway Alliance leads the development of the 3,000-mile multi-use, non-motorized corridor connecting communities from Maine to Florida.
