What do you get when you cross mandolin, guitar, upright bass, accordion and percussion with an accomplished Americana instrumentalist who has studied meditation and violin with masters in India? Our second act of the season, Phoebe Hunt & The Gatherers, answer this riddle with a unique and kaleidoscopic take on roots music. Sometimes shimmering and hypnotic, sometimes rhythmic and brassy, we are proud to welcome Phoebe Hunt and her band to the 2nd Shift series.
