MEMOIR WRITING WORKSHOP w/author Maureen Stanton

Workshop begins at 7:00PM, doors open 30 minutes prior.

The Waltham Public Library and the Charles River Museum once again team up to bring you a special event in celebration of National Novel Writing Month: author Maureen Stanton will be running a Memoir Writing Workshop! Maureen will discuss excerpts from her memoir “Body Leaping Backward: Memoir of a Delinquent Girlhood” and how she crafted a powerful memoir. Attendees will participate in a brief writing exercise and be able to share their work. Following the writing exercises will be a question and answer section if there is time. All this will take place within the historic ambiance provided by the 1911 Boiler House of the Boston Manufacturing Company, in which the Museum is housed, and amongst a variety of thought provoking artifacts.

This event is free and open to the public.

Space is limited to 25 attendees. Pre-registration is required.
