Singer/songwriter Susan Cattaneo’s creed is be “respectful of tradition, but not bound by it,” which sums up her music—and the entire Americana genre—perfectly. Cattaneo, a one-time member of the Boxcar Lilies, is a mainstay of the Boston roots music scene and a respected songwriting professor at Berklee College of Music.
